 General Description

TAIE single-loop controller introduction
FY
series digital controllers are single-loop PID controllers, which are suitable for various industrial process controls. Temperature control is one of the main applications.
PFY
series added the “SV RAMP/SOAK programmable” function to FY series, all other functions are the same with FY series.
 
There are 16 segments of RAMP/SOAK in 2 patterns for programming.
SV Ramp Soak programmavle 16 segments of ramp/soak in 2 patterns for programming
4-digits 8888 LED 7-segment display
The upper display is PV (process value) , and the lower display is SV (set value) display. Input accuracy is ±0.2%
Input sampling time is 250ms Build in Auto-Tuning(AT) function can be used to get optimize PID value automatically.

SV in FY controller can be remote by external analog signal from PLC or other controllers

RS232/RS485 communication function (Optional) :
 

FY controllers support “Modbus” communication protocol.
It’s easy for using FY controllers to communicate with various HMI and PLC.
RS232 or RS485 communication interface are available by custom selection.
Up to 32 controllers can be connected together in RS485 communication and max wiring length is 1200m.

TTL communication function (Optional):
 

Up to 10 controllers can be linked together in TTL communication network.
The SV of slave controllers will be remote by master controller and reached to max value at the same time.

Water/ Dust proof function (Optional):
 

Front panel conformed to IP65 Water/Dust proof level. This function had been tested and authorized by third country’s laboratory.

PV Offset function :
 

The PV offset value can be adjusted by manual setting.

Digital PV Filter function :
 

It can be applied to adjust PV display time to prevent PV changed rapidly due to external noise.

Data Lock function:
 

All parameters are separated in 3 operation levels.
Each parameter can be hidden or locked to prevent unauthorized changes.

Other functions:
 
Output mode can be switched between AUTO and MANUAL mode by front key operation .It is useful for output simulation.
